Last night, had dinner with Shenton, Jiaqi, Jasmine, Emily (new colleague) and Mr Tan at Pacific House. After dinner, we decided to head to Old Town Kopitiam for desserts and it was so DISAPPOINTING!
Mr Tan and I ordered Ice Kachang ($7) and Chendol ($6) to share. Jiaqi and Shenton shared prata and tea, Jasmine had Iced Longan and Emily had hot coffee. The desserts are such a disappointment. The Ice Kachang had lots of grass jelly and the syrup used tasted so weird. I can't taste the milk and the whole thing was just syrup overdose. The chendol was worse. No sign of brown sugar syrup, only lots of coconut milk. The portion was pathetic. Jasmine's Iced Longan had 3 longans and that drink cost $4. Never again!
