Day 187 -正月初三
Spent a lazy afternoon at home, watching TV while Mr Tan slept. He has been so busy with work lately that he hasn't been getting enough sleep. Had curry chicken with prata for lunch and headed over to Crown for dinner after Jiaqi mentioned that there is a Chinese New Year fair going on and there will be fireworks later at night.
There were many food stalls but the food was expensive.
Spiral-cut fried potato = $5
Satay = $3
Ice Kachang = $5
Seafood balls = $3
Eventually, we had KFC for dinner. Haha. I love wicked wings! Spicy, crispy, yummy! Only problem is, they always give me drumlets instead of the middle joint. But nonetheless, they are still finger lickin' good!
It started to rain when the fireworks started and we stood in the rain to watch the fireworks. Loud and colourful but it was freezing cold. Mr Tan was in berms and birkis while I was in mini-skirt and birkis. I think our toes froze in the rain! Who said it is summer time in Melbourne?!
